Classes: The North Idaho Operator's Section (NIOS) of PNCWA is soliciting abstracts for the 2020 Idaho Operator's Conference. Classes will be one hour in length; longer classes will also be considered (e.g., 2 hr. block). Particular interest lies in the following thematic areas:
Laboratory methods, best practices, certification
Water distribution and treatment
Process control instrumentation
Wastewater treatment - from lagoons to tertiary treatment
Operator certification/licensing preparation and review
NIOS is most particularly interested in classes that speak directly to, and specifically benefit, water and wastewater operations professionals; engineering-centric classes will not be considered.
Abstracts should be 200-400 words in length, and should provide sufficient detail and clarity to allow for review and assessment of fit for the target audience.
Submit your abstract and bio to Rodney Cook at firstname.lastname@example.org. All proposed classes must be eligible for CEUs as certified by the Idaho DEQ. NIOS will obtain the CEU approvals. Abstract Deadline: Please submit your abstract to Rodney Cook (see below) as soon as possible, but no later than February 29, 2020. This allows adequate time for obtaining CEU approval.
